Originally from Worcestershire I moved to Lincoln in 2016 to study Journalism BA (Hons) at the University of Lincoln. I graduated in 2019 with a First Class degree, as well as receiving two department awards for my university work.

During my three years at university I learnt skills across television, radio, online and print and was heavily involved in student-led news production - as editor of LSJ News and as a day editor at Siren Radio.

I was able to cover a wide range of stories during my three years at university which included; live reporting on a bomb scare, interviewing one of the last Dambusters George Johnson, attending the opening of a new training centre for Lincoln City Football Club and much more.

In 2019 I was nominated for a number of Midland Media Student Awards and won the award for Social Media Journalism as well as being Highly Commended for Broadcast TV.

Below is the documentary I made for my third year TV production module - exploring how Mountain Rescue dogs are trained and used.
